The Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau held the 14th Annual Elaine McLaughlin Outstanding Hospitality Service Awards (E-Awards) Ceremony today and I had the pleasure of attending as a nominee in the attractions category. Nominees are recognized for their extraordinary customer service professionalism. Over 600 people were nominated in 7 different categories – Accommodations, Attractions, Best Tourism Boss, Good Samaritan, Other Services/Businesses, Restaurant and Transportation, They choose 3 Honorable Mentions in each category and 1 winner. I was absolutely thrilled when the Attractions Category came up and I was announced as the winner! THANK YOU to all who wrote nomination letters. I sincerely appreciate all of you and feel privileged to show you what I love about Southwest Florida.
