Some of you may remember that I earned the Florida Master Naturalist Credential in 2012. Recently, I was honored to be nominated by a number of people for the Florida Master Naturalist Award of Excellence. I learned today that I am not the winning recipient of this award and would like to thank everybody who wrote a letter of nomination. I am very thankful that I get to show so many people the natural beauty of Southwest Florida which is the greatest award of all. See you all soon!

Posted at 21:48h, 01 MarchOh Brian, I'm so sorry you didn't win. But you still have the greatest job in the world and your clients appreciate you more than you know. You share your heart with so many people and that means more than any award anyway.

Posted at 02:55h, 05 MarchThank you Gail, Kim and Morgan. I am just happy to do what I do, that is really the best award. I hope I can do it for another 20 years. Then I'll work on another 20.
