It was another fun filled day of shelling and exploring with Dick and Sherri from Texas. We spent the morning shelling then stopped by an island outpost for a nice lunch. The afternoon was a little more adventurous. We walked through the mangroves to an isolated stretch of beach and Sherri did a great job of exploring the mangrove swamp on the way to the beach.  I look forward to our next trip in December. Beautiful shells…with an interesting sand dollar find…looks like another great day. The picture of the mother bird with the two fledgling babies walking along the beach is precious.

  • That sand dollar is very cool looking.

Gorgeous day – the snowy plovers were darling and so much enjoyed the dolphins. As always this trip was fantastic. Thanks again and see you soon. Dick and Sherry

The snowy plovers are adorable and that pelican pic is great – caught his head at a perfect angle (I have a thing for bird eyes being so clear!) Nice whelk, too! I sense there is a swamp story to be told 🙂
